The DRG:HYBRiD-XL PSA is an enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative in vitro diagnostic measurement of total Prostate-specific Antigen concentration (t-PSA) in serum or plasma (EDTA-, heparinor citrate plasma). The determination of PSA levels is used to estimate the risk of prostate carcinoma in men in conjunction with digital rectal examination (DRE) or to monitor the effectiveness of prostate carcinoma treatment in patients. Only for use with the DRG:HYBRiD-XL Analyzer.
